SGK Global Shipping Services is an FMC-licensed NVOCC and IATA-affiliated air cargo agent headquartered in Stafford, Texas, moving boxes, barrels, vehicles, and commercial freight between the USA and Nigeria since 2008. We are a deliberately small, senior team: every hire touches real shipments, speaks with real customers, and owns real deadlines. There is no call-center floor here — you learn the lane end to end, from a warehouse dock in Stafford to a doorstep in Lagos.

How we hire

We do not run rolling job boards or agencies. When a seat opens — operations, customer service, sales, or warehouse — we call the CVs we already know first. One good email is enough to be on that list.

A human replies — the same desk that answers quote requests. If your background fits a current or likely opening, we schedule a 20-minute phone conversation. If not, we say so plainly.

Your CV stays on file for 12 months.
When a role opens, we start with the file before we post anywhere. You will hear from us by email or phone — never a mass rejection template, never a silence.

To customers and to each other. If a transit date slipped or a rate changed, we say it the day we know — the same way we quote.

You take a shipment from first email to proof of delivery. Nobody says “that is not my desk” — the customer has one contact, and that is you.

A misdeclared pallet or a missed PAAR costs days at Tin Can Island. We check twice, document everything, and still make the sailing.

We chase carriers, brokers, and warehouses hard — and stay courteous doing it. Our Nigeria desk runs on relationships built over 18+ years.
